1976 - Connell's Pest Control is founded in Jemison, Alabama with Wade Connell operating the business out of his parents' basement.
1984 - Wade Connell buys an office on the west side of Clanton and hires his first employed.
1996 - Connell's becomes one of the first companies in the area certified to sell and service the Sentricon Colony Elimination System, a termite baiting system.
1999 - Showing a commitment to maintaining a family business, Wade Connell hires his nephew, John Gothard, to work for the company.
2005 - Wade Connell hires his brotherinlaw, Mike Gothard, to operate the newlyopened Calera location. Wade's son, Patrick Connell, also joins the company.
2008 - Connell's Clanton office relocates to its current location at 300 1st Street North, in order to allow for more growth.
In spite of recent financial downturns, Connell's has not laid off a single employee and still continues to grow. Connell's has retained some of the same employees for over 20 years. This longevity ensures better service for Connell's customers by offering over 60 years of combined experience in the industry.
